I never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to have it happen to us. We always lived in a very clean home in suburbia always in an upscale neighborhood.
We had just returned from a weekend at a dog-friendly cabin. Max loved the outdoors, running around and exploring. Little did I know, he was bringing home more than just happy memories. A few days after our return, I noticed Max scratching excessively. My heart sank when I realized he was infested with fleas.”
Fleas are relentless. They cause intense itching and discomfort for dogs, and it’s heartbreaking to see your friend suffer. Max was scratching non-stop, and I was worried about the potential health risks, like skin infections and flea-borne diseases. Plus, the thought of fleas spreading throughout my home was horrifying.
In a panic, I tried everything. First, I called a pest control service, spending a small fortune on treatments that promised to rid Max and our home of fleas. But the fleas kept coming back. Next, I bought various over-the-counter sprays and shampoos from the pet store. They seemed to work temporarily, but soon enough, the fleas would reappear, and Max was back to scratching.
I vacuumed the house daily, washed Max’s bedding in hot water, and even treated the yard. Despite my best efforts, the problem persisted. It was exhausting and disheartening.
I did not begin to see any real positive results until after I went online and discovered SayByeBugs. I made my first order of two 16 oz. bottles of non-toxic flea and tick spray, which appealed to me in itself. I began spraying Max thoroughly, especially behind his ears and along his back. Just think that just a few fleas can turn into hundreds in a very short time so I cannot emphasize enough that you have to be diligent.
Gradually with the spray and continued effort, I began to see positive results. It actually took me a few days to finally get Max completely flea-free. These fleas are incredibly persistent, but SayByeBugs made all the difference. No human can sustain the frustration and worry of a flea infestation for long, but that’s what happens because they are constantly on your mind.
The ones Max had must have been especially aggressive because there wasn’t an hour of the day I couldn’t find one at the onset. Truth be told, it was torture seeing him suffer. And when it becomes self-inflicted frustration, you must act.
If it were not for SayByeBugs , I just don’t know what I would have done other than trying to shave Max completely, which just wasn’t a realistic remedy.
So, if you have a dog or even suspect fleas, get SayByeBugs and spray everything. I’m talking about your dog’s bedding, your furniture, and even carpets. Spray your dog directly as well, following the instructions. I know you probably think that I am a flea paranoia freak.

Did y’all say it would destroy all flea eggs on the dog? What is the main ingredient in this product?

Hello Timmy,
The spray uses a highly effective water-based formula (you can check SayByeBugs website for the full ingredient list) that violently reacts with fleas and exterminates them on contact.

How do I know if my dog has fleas?

Isabelle,
Check your dog’s fur, especially around the ears and base of the tail. Look for tiny black specks (flea dirt) or small reddish-brown insects. Your dog might also show signs of excessive scratching, licking, or biting at their fur. Good luck!

I found fleas on my dog and checked the house thoroughly. Should I leave it alone or try SayByeBugs?

I’m freaking out! I only found a few fleas, but I’m going crazy seeing my dog suffer. My pets sleep with me, and I don’t know if they are suffering as well. Will this product hurt them if licked? And are any other bugs affected by the product?

Hello Lynn, the spray is completely pet-safe and, since it’s water-based with safe ingredients, it’s not toxic if your pet happens to lick it. Spray exterminates fleas but also works on ticks and other pests.

Very helpful, thank you! We had fleas for almost a year trying everything we could. Not fun when you’re big and pregnant and want to sleep. I unfortunately had to bring my brand new baby home to a buggy apartment…. we moved two days ago and got rid of the couch and bed. Washed and dried every piece of clothing and then sprayed the clothes with this spray. I haven’t seen a single flea since. And I’m really glad this spray is safe for my daughter and my pet.
