Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to deal with a dust mite problem.
I have always lived in a very clean home in the suburbs, always in an upscale neighborhood.
It all started when I decided to redecorate my bedroom with new bedding and plush carpets, eager to create a cozy sanctuary. Little did I know, this decision would lead to an unexpected nightmare.
A few weeks later, I began noticing that I was waking up with itchy skin and irritated eyes.
At first, I brushed it off, thinking it was just seasonal allergies. But as the days went by, my symptoms worsened. Before I knew it, I was dreading going to bed, knowing I would wake up feeling miserable.
After consulting with a dermatologist, I learned that dust mites were the likely culprits. I was shocked—I just couldn't believe it. The first mistake I made was rushing out to buy several air purifiers and hypoallergenic bedding. They promised quick results, and I was desperate.
Unfortunately, after spending a considerable amount on these items, I found that while they offered some relief, the problem persisted. These solutions seemed to offer a temporary fix but did nothing to address the root of the infestation.
Naturally, I felt frustrated and defeated. Next, I tried every DIY solution I could find online—washing bedding in hot water, vacuuming daily, you name it. My bedroom began to resemble a cleaning war zone, yet the dust mites remained relentless.
By now, I'm getting educated that there's more to this process than just cleaning. It's extremely important to tackle the problem at its source as well. I did not begin to see any real positive results until I went online and discovered SayByeBugs . I made my first order of two 16 oz. bottles of their non-toxic spray, which appealed to me in itself.
I began spraying around the bedroom, focusing on areas where dust mites seemed to thrive—mattresses, pillows, carpets, and curtains. To my surprise, I started seeing immediate results. The itching subsided, and unlike other sprays, there were no toxic chemicals, harsh odors or even stains.
Just think that a few dust mites can multiply into thousands in a very short time, so I cannot emphasize enough that you have to be diligent. I live in a climate where dust mites are common, but none of the usual allergens bothered me like these invisible pests.
Dust mite infestations can happen anywhere—hotels, offices, and yes, even in our own homes. It usually goes ignored because rarely anyone ever senses they are the culprit. But the truth is, nobody is immune from the possibility of this happening to them.

I’m panicking! I believe I have them and now can’t stop thinking about them. My pets sleep with me, will this product harm them if they lick it? Are other bugs affected by it?

BedBugGuide
Hello Lynn, dust mites affect humans but also pets. However, the spray is pet-safe and non-toxic if licked. It also works on other pests like fleas, bed bugs and other crawling insects.
