Silverfish Spray On "Steroids" Protects Your Family Without Toxic Chemicals?

“I am taking the time to write this to enlighten folks who have never experienced a silverfish infestation There's no way to make this a short story, but you might be interested in something you think could never happen to you.

Never in my wildest dreams did I expect this to happen to me.

I always lived in a very clean home in an upscale suburb.

I had put some things in storage and, after a year, decided it was ridiculous to keep spending $100 a month on stuff I'd probably never use again. So, I brought the stuff into my home with the idea of giving most of it to charity. I left it sitting for about a week before starting to get rid of the belongings.

A few weeks later, I noticed two very unfamiliar bugs scuttling across my kitchen floor early one morning.

After some research, I discovered they were silverfish, and I just flipped out. The first mistake I made was calling an extermination company that promised “silverfish control,” not extermination. At the time, I didn’t care. I just wanted these things out of my home. I unfortunately signed some papers and, after all was said and done, I was out $1500 and still had silverfish.

Naturally, I called and complained, but my words fell on deaf ears. Next, I went to Home Depot and bought every product that claimed to destroy silverfish. I sprayed my entire home, but I quickly learned that there's more to this process than just using pesticides or "bombs."

It’s extremely important to keep your home dry and clean, as silverfish thrive in damp environments with enough food and hiding spaces.

I did not see any real positive results until I went online and discovered Say Bye Bugs. I made my first order of two 16 oz. bottles of non-toxic silverfish spray, which appealed to me in itself. I began spraying every baseboard and, yes, I saw a few hiding behind them.

Living in South Florida, we have all types of creepy things, but none ever bothered me like these silky buggers. I sprayed underneath closets and in all my furniture.

Just a few silverfish can turn into hundreds infesting your food supplies and even clothes, so I cannot emphasize enough that you have to be diligent. You really don’t want to find their skins, or even feces in your cereals and other food containers.

There are luxury hotels, libraries, and yes, storage units where infestations have occurred. It’s usually a hush-hush matter with respect to a business, for obvious reasons. Nobody is immune from the possibility of this happening to them.

Personally, it was overwhelming for me until I found Say Bye Bugs.

Gradually with the spray and laundry products they have developed I began to see positive results. It actually took me about a month before I was confident enough to invite someone to my place. These bugs don’t harm you, but they sure make you feel unworthy and filthy.

If it were not for Say Bye Bugs I just don’t know what I would have done other than remain in hiding, which just wasn’t a realistic solution anyhow.

So, if your home is damp or have periods of humidity then get Say Bye Bugs and spray everything. I’m talking about every crack and crevice you can find. Spray even other areas where they could hide. I know you probably think that I am a paranoia freak.

Well, truth be told after what I experienced I am and you would be as well. Do yourself a favor, even if you think it cannot happen to you have a couple spray bottles at the ready.

Time is of the essence when it comes to exterminating these pests

If you have or even suspect a silverfish problem, act quickly. Say Bye Bugs is an inexpensive and effective solution. Keep a couple of spray bottles on hand just in case. I cannot thank Say Bye Bugs enough for returning my life to normalcy. I'm not being compensated for this long letter, but I just want to help others avoid the nightmare I went through.

Everyone should have at least a bottle of Say Bye Bugs, which hopefully you will never have to use. Do yourself a favor and pick up the phone and call SayByeBugs(855 290-8300) or simply email them at support@saybyebugs.com. They are very accommodating and understand what you are going through. I just cannot say enough about a product that returned my life to normalcy, and I’m very thankful for that.

I wish you all the best of luck in life and prosper and most importantly be happy. Thank you for taking the time to read my unfortunate encounter with the incredibly annoying silverfish.

Hello Timmy,
The spray uses a highly effective water based formula (you can check Say Bye Bugs website for full ingredient list) that violently reacts with silverfish’ exoskeleton and exterminates them on contact.

How do I know if I my place has silverfish?

1 Jan, 7:55 pm

BedBugGuide

Isabelle, if you’d visit damp and dark areas in your home you may find some silverfish or uncover their shedding skins. You may also check for yellow stains that they leave on surfaces where they have been feeding (e.g. on books, papers, clothing, walls), or even damages to starchy materials such as wallpapers, book bindings, cardboard boxes, photos, fabrics and even food packaging. Good luck!

Hello Crystal, Say Bye Bugs is also great to have “just in case”. This way if you notice another one you can act quickly and spray around the area where you saw it or where they will most likely reside.

Can the spray be used directly on clothing in closets. Also can it be used directly on books?

21 Jan, 8:13 pm

BedBugGuide

Hello Fran, Say Bye Bugs spray is water based, so you can safely use it on all water safe surfaces and clothing. I would not advise spraying books with it. Let us know how it worked for you.

I’m freaking out! I found these gross little silverfish in my bathroom, and I’m totally losing it. My heart was racing just watching them crawl around. I feel like my whole flat is under attack…I have no clue what to do next. I’m so overwhelmed and scared they’re going to destroy everything! My questions is if my pets are suffering as well. Will this product hurt them if licked? And are any other bugs affected buy the product!

BedBugGuide

Hello Lynn, silverfish don’t feed on pets. Spray is completely pet safe and since it’s water based with safe ingredients it’s also not toxic if your pet happens to lick it. Spray exterminates silverfish but also works on fleas and other home insects.

Very helpful thank you! We have had these pests for almost a year trying everything we could. Not fun when you’re big and pregnant and want to sleep. I unfortunately had to bring my brand new baby home to a buggy apartment…. we moved two days ago and had to fix my entire home. Washed and dried every piece of clothing and then sprayed all surfaces with this spray. I haven’t seen a single bug since. And I’m really glad this spray is safe for my daughter and my pet
